眠る前に目をつぶり目の中の残像を楽しんでいる時や、交差点で1人目的もなく信号待ちをしている時、当たり前に誰にでも訪れる朝と、夜と、抗えない時の流れを意識してしまい怖くなる時がある。自分と同じように周りの人たちが朝、夜、時間を共有しているととても信じられなくて、まるで1人だけ違う生命体なんじゃないかと数秒間考えて日常に戻るんだ。

イラストレーター玉村へビオは、これまでその数々の活動の中で”神さん”をテーマにした作品を描きつづけてきた。
時に真摯に、時にユーモラスに、目には見えないけれどそこここに存在する”得体の知れない何か”を、少しの洒落っ気をスパイスに独自の目線で表現し、観る人を惹きつけてきた。
そして今回はそこに、当ギャラリーの追求するテーマでもある”美”というものをもう一つの要素として加えてもらった。
そのあまりに漠然として捉えどころのないものたちを、どのように描くのか。
